See our step by step guide on your process with us.
STEP 1
MAKE A PLAN
At this stage, you're likely browsing online for design inspiration and admiring your friends' new kitchen. But you might be wondering where to begin. The process can be made easy by working with a company that values your needs and doesn't disrupt your market presence.
-
The most crucial element of this stage of kitchen designing is how you plan to utilize the space. It is vital that your kitchen's layout is efficient, while also creating a space that is enjoyable and where you'd like to spend your time.
Think about the specific areas in your kitchen that you will use for food preparation, cooking, and washing up. Consider whether you want your kitchen to be primarily functional or if you envision it as a gathering place for socializing with friends and family. This information will assist us in determining which features to incorporate into your design.
-
This is typically the main thing you'll focus on before getting your new kitchen. With a wide range of options and constantly changing trends, it can be challenging to stay aligned with your vision.
When it comes to color, your space can influence the colors and shades you choose. For instance, if you lack natural light, you may want to opt for a lighter color palette. On the other hand, if you have a large space, you might consider experimenting with darker colors.
Taking samples home is a great way to see what colours work with your space.
-
What is meant by "market presence"?
Kitchen companies have a tendency to try to remove you from the market by offering enticing deals like "If you provide a deposit today, I can guarantee a 50% discount on your purchase."
We understand the importance of making confident decisions. That's why we won't ask you for any payment until you are completely certain and ready to place your order.
STEP 2
HOME MESSURE & FIRST DESIGN
Once you have considered the layout and style, reach out to local companies you would be interested in collaborating with. If you opt for a complimentary design and quotation from us, Dave will personally visit your home for a consultation to take measurements, understand the space, and discuss your ideas.
-
If you already have your own sketch or had plans done by another company we can use these to provide you with a quote and also offer additional advise.
TIP: If you are getting multiple quotes for comparison. Make sure you are getting like for like products and service.
-
If you have architectural plans, we can work with those, along with a list of your preferences. Additionally, it would be highly beneficial if you have any images of design inspiration that you have come across.
The more information you can provide us with, the better we can assist you at this very early stage. However, if you are unsure about your choices, we will support you throughout the design process by offering our suggestions.
-
Discussing your budget with your designer is crucial. While you don't have to provide specific numbers, providing a range will enable us to offer the best advice on what can be accomplished within your budget. Starting off with realistic expectations is essential for a smooth design journey.
STEP 3
